Accident at Mount: A third person died from injuries

The balance of the deadly accident, which occurred Monday, May 23 at Mount, continued to widen. On Thursday, May 26, a third person has died from his injuries. Seevanand Ramgutee, was admitted to the ICU of the hospital in the North. 

Recall that two employees of the hospital in the North have perished in this accident. Yogesh Mauthou, 30, Viraj Jawaheer, 37 years and Seevanand Ramgutee were on board a car when the drama was played. Police said the vehicle had left the road and ended his race against an oncoming minibus. All indications are that the car was going fast. 

Yogesh Mauthou was killed instantly, while his colleague died while he was en route to North Hospital. The autopsy, performed by the chief forensic Dr Sudesh Kumar Gungadin, revealed they died of their multiple injuries. For its part, the driver of the minibus had was taken to police station for questioning Pamplemousses. He was released several hours later. 

Moreover, another fatal accident occurred during this Thursday afternoon at Beau-Dream. A student aged 14 died at the Victoria Hospital in Candos few hours after being severely hit by a truck.
