In family Tranquille, Joachim City, Forest-Side, the joy of family reunion has given way to tears and dismay. Noella Marie Tranquille, 40, liveded in France for twenty years, was killed in a road accident on Sunday in the wee hours.

The van of fifteen places on which it was in the company of such a family, was hit on the side by another van.

The accident occurred up to the junction Allée Brilliant, Floreal. Under the force of the impact, the van had a head-to-tail before ending his race against a sign. The violence was such that the victim was thrown from the vehicle through the rear window. Noella Marie did not survive his injuries. Other family members were admitted to hospital in Victoria Candos.

Vacoas police investigation to shed light on the circumstances of the accident. The driver of the van has been implicated to a breath test was positive. It is held in police cells. On the evening of the tragedy, the victim was going to dinner with seven family members in a restaurant in Quatre-Bornes.

"We left the restaurant around 3 am 15 am" says Nathaniel. "The van was driving towards Curepipe. At the junction Shining Path, another van with 15 seats in it ... we returned Noella Marie, sitting in the back, was thrown out of the van ..."

Rudolph, another relative, said: "It happened so fast. After the accident, I was only aware of it. I went to see Marie Noella, she lay on the ground. I covered with my coat," said he, weeping. Noella Marie landed in Mauritius on July 26. With her sister, she wanted to surprise his family."Usually, the sisters were to turn, then they came together," recounts a nephew of the victim. The latter had to leave Saturday, August 20. She leaves behind a seven year old son. His funeral took place Sunday in the day.
