Britannia: Officer VIPSU Dies at the End of His Duty
VIPSU a constable was killed in Britannia, Sunday morning. He was returning from work on his motorcycle when the tragedy occurred. At the close of the police, there is consternation.

Preetam Khirodhur, says Kevin, aged 28, living in Camp Berthaud, Britannia, was returning from work. The accident happened around 5:00 Sunday. His motorcycle Honda 100 cc, registered 2286 C, skidded off the roadway before coming to rest on the side of the road, near Rivière Dragon.

Kevin joined the ranks of the police, seven years ago.VIPSU member, he was posted to Clarisse House last year. The day of the tragedy, he returned home after a night on sentry posted at Vacoas. 

"A son exemplary" 

The sudden death of this exemplary son and beloved family Khirodhur plunged into disarray. Relatives have a hard time believing that Kevin is no longer. His wife, Kovila, 23, was walled up in silence. It must now raise their only son aged three. 

Khirodhur Ashok's father Kevin, 51, has hardly contain his emotion. "It was an exemplary son. He was much appreciated by his entourage. It was my right hand "he says.

That fateful Sunday, another accident occurred at Bell Village, around 6:30. A couple who was on board a motorcycle, was hit by a car. Motorcyclists were rushed to the hospital Dr. AG Jeetoo. They gradually recover from their injuries. The driver of the vehicle was subjected to a breath test which proved negative.
