Sorèze Accident: Two Months After Conductor Claims Rs 15 Million from NTC
Vishwamitr Ram Bundhoo, the receiver of the bus of death, has demanded the National Transport Corporation (NTC) to pay him Rs 15 million as damages. In its complaint, involves the NTC for negligence.

Two months after the tragic accident Sorèze the recipient of the bus of the NTC Vishwamitr Ram Bundhoo, claiming damages of Rs 15 million to the national transportation company.

On May 3, 2013, a bus of the NTC which had released the brakes on the highway shortly after Bagatelle towards Port Louis, ended his wild ride on the exchanger Sorèze. The accident caused ten deaths. The bus driver, Deechand Guness did not survive his injuries, while the Ram Vishwamitr Bundhoo was seriously injured.

In its complaint, it argues that before the accident, the driver and himself had repeatedly drawn the attention of the administration of the NTC defect in the braking system of the bus Blue Line 4263AG07 registered. The receiver is of the opinion that the accident occurred due to the carelessness and negligence of the leadership of the NTC. The latter would, in his view, failed in its task of ensuring the safety of its employees.

Following the accident, Vishwamitr Bundhoo Ram was admitted to intensive care Jeetoo hospital, where he spent 10 days. He is currently on sick leave and that, until 15 August 2013.But he says he was deprived of his wages in June Vishwamitr Bundhoo Ram, who has 16 years of service within the NTC, thus said to have suffered a double injury.
