The company that will stall the contract must provide the design, construction, financing , operation and will also be responsible for maintaining the light rail . Furthermore, the light rail does not travel the path of the highway, but happens in the cities , especially Curepipe, Vacoas, Rose Hill and Beau-Bassin . Then it will go to Coromandel and Great River Northwest to complete the trip to Port Louis.
It is also possible that there is an alignment between Bagatelle and Ebony to attract more passengers.

After 30 years of service, there will be a renegotiation between the consortium and the government in mind that the Government is responsible for the operation of the light rail .
