NTC: Two Companies Rivaling to Provide 65 New Buses
Two local companies have shown interest to provide the National Transmission Corporation (NTC) 65 new buses to renew its fleet. It is Iframac and ABC Motors.

The Central Procurement Board (CPB) is aware of two offers at the end of the year tender which took place on Tuesday. If all goes as planned, the new buses are on the road in March next year. Company Iframac has budgeted an amount of approximately Rs 126 million to provide forty standard buses. ABC Motors Company, budgeted a sum of Rs 136 million to provide forty standard buses and Rs 82 million to provide 25 bus 35 to 40 seats. The onus is now on CPB to evaluate these offers.
