We'd take any of the three, but there is a standout here. Here’s a comparison between three of the sweetest supercars on the market today.
The Porsche 911 GT3 may get called out for not being on par with the Ferrari 458 Speciale and McLaren 650S, both of which have bona fide supercar status, and in terms of pricing at least that would be a totally valid criticism. But as a track weapon it can absolutely hold its own against these exotics as Autocar’s Steve Sutcliffe demonstrates on the Castle Combe race course.
No surprise that the Ferrari comes out on top and that the McLaren, as the most potent of three, delivers the fastest straight line speed, but the Porsche is undoubtedly the most impressive given it is half the price of the other two.
