Honda Promises New Pilot SUV Won't Look Like Packaged Cheese
Let's not make that mistake again. Honda has just announced that the completely redesigned, third-generation Pilot SUV (really, it’s a crossover) will debut at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show next month.

Like its predecessors, the new Pilot will feature three-rows of seating for up to eight passengers. The automaker is also claiming the new Pilot represents a dramatic shift in design that’ll reveal the styling direction for the next generation Ridgeline pickup. Sweet. We’re honestly more excited about that new Ridgeline than the Pilot.

Honda also stated the 2016 Pilot will be on sale in the US this summer. It’ll feature new technology, advanced safety, class-leading fuel economy and enhanced family utility and versatility. Then again, you could just buy the Odyssey minivan and get all that, only without four-wheel drive. Perhaps the best part about the new Pilot will be an exterior design that doesn’t look like government-issued packaged cheese. Judging by the brief teaser image released, this Pilot has a sleeker profile, a spreadable and eloquent French cheese if you will. We’ll have our answer next month.
