Do You Think a Professional Drifter Can Get the Model S Sideways?
Elon Musk is certainly hoping so. The Tesla Model S is easily the most exciting electric car ever to hit the road. It takes on Lamborghinis at the drag strip, carts the kids to school and can even be drifted.
Professional Japanese drifter Nobuteru Taniguchi proved that last point when he took a stock Model S around the track at an event in Tokyo. In all honesty the Model S doesn’t go crazy, but it does do a little slipping and sliding. The all-wheel drive likely hurts the Tesla's ability to get fully sideways.
Elon Musk must be pretty damn happy with himself. His Model S is a world-beater in the EV market, it can drag race with the best of them and it (kind of) drifts.
