Honda Fit Mugen Busted in Brochure Scans?
Japanese magazine scans helped give us an early look at the next-gen Honda Fit before it officially broke cover last month, and now the same tactic may have just given us our first glimpse at the Mugen-tuned version of this budget hatchback.

This scanned image, which looks to be legit, shows two variations of the Honda Fit/Jazz Mugen, the S and RS.

Although details are lacking, the Mugen body kit sure looks serious on this edgy, new Fit design. Some of the styling upgrades include a more aggressive body kit, 17-inch wheels and a sizable rear spoiler.

There are also sure to be suspension and powertrain upgrades available, but this single scanned page does not seem to be very helpful in this regard. The new Fit goes on sale early next year, and like the Hybrid, we don't expect a Fit Mugen to be offered here in North America. In fact, the Fit/Jazz above is probably not a stand-alone model, it's likely just showing Mugen's planned catalog of parts. Either way, that probably won't stop JDM enthusiasts here from building piecemeal versions in their own garages.
