Salvage Viper is going for $14,900.
Take a look at this used car which is currently up for sale on Craigslist for $14,900. It may be hard to recognize, but somewhere underneath lie the remnants of a 2003 Dodge Viper, a 500+ horsepower beast that would have had us drooling back in its day. According to the seller, the Viper "currently has Ohio state salvage title due to reported front end damage, no frame damage, no suspension damage, drives straight without vibration. Both airbags deployed and removed."
However, the ad states that "all body panels, doors, windows, windshield were removed by the salvage yard I purchased this Viper from." For its price, this ghost of Viper past could become an epic project car for those with a lot of patience, imagination and compassion.
