The 2017 Nissan Micra is available in Europe in five trim levels: Visia, Visia+, Acenta, N-Connecta and Tekna. LED daytime running lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, 7.0-inch NissanConnect touchscreen infotainment system, two-tone dashboard, 6-speaker BOSE Personal audio system, Hill Start Assist and Intelligent Emergency Braking are the noteworthy features.
The fifth-gen Nissan Micra is built on a modified version of the V-platform and is longer, wider and lower than the current Micra. The redesigned B-hatchback measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,742 mm in width, 1,452 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,525 mm. It is available with three engine options: 73 PS 1.0-litre naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol, 90 PS 0.9-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol, and 90 PS 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel. A 5-speed manual transmission comes default.
The 2017 Nissan Micra's production this week started in Flins, France, the same plant where Renault Clio comes from.
The new Micra will go on sale in Europe in March 2017.
