The 2018 iteration comes in three new colours: Rock Matte Black, Canyon Red and Glacier Blue. There is no change in price.
Another distinct visual addition are the Gold Dust alloy wheels which gives the Dominar a more premium look. The new colours draw inspiration from the terrains it has conquered, particularly the Trans-Siberian Odyssey. In this expedition, three riders covered 15,000 km in 53 days on their Dominar motorcycles with no break down or part change. Bajaj showcased the 2018 Dominar at the launch event of the 2018 Discover range. Commenting on the Dominar 2018 collection, Mr. Eric Vas, President – Motorcycles, Bajaj Auto Ltd said:
We are commemorating the first anniversary celebration of Dominar400 with the launch of a new 2018 collection. Within one year, the bike has created a strong following for itself. It has become the preferred choice for city riders and long-distance tourers, alike. Customers have pushed the bike into extreme long distance and challenging geographies with aplomb, which inspired us to dedicate the new collection to these terrains it has dominated.
Apart from the visual changes, the mechanicals of the bike are the same as the previous generation bike. Key features of the Bajaj Dominar 400 include power-cruiser styling, all-LED lighting system, and liquid cooled engine with slipper clutch.
