36 new buses replaced old in NTC

The National Transport Company (NTC) is renewing its fleet of buses to reduce expenses related to the repair of buses that have outlived their utility. NTC has just acquired 36 new buses of the Nissan brand. Eleven are already in use and 25 more are expected in the coming weeks. By May, the NTC will purchase 10 minibuses.
In this year, CNT has to acquire 100 more buses.
Nissan buses are much better than the bus 2007 underlined Hamrag Roy, chairman of the Transportation Industry Workers Union (TIWU). "We are confident that these buses will work at least 17 years. Buses often break down in 2007 and remain in the garage. With these Japanese buses we are confident. In the past the CNT had to purchase 100 Isuzu buses and with them, we had experienced a lot of progress."
The NTC carries daily 60% of the working people in the country.
