German-based tuner CCG Automotive spared no expense on its Challenger SRT8 tune job. The American muscle car's power output was boosted to 600hp and 470 lb-ft of torque thanks to a slew of engine modifications. CCG Automotive added a new exhaust system and increased the displacement of the 6.1-liter HEMI V8 to 7.0-liters with a stroke kit ton increase the Challenger's top speed to 186 mph. Aesthetic upgrades include a lime green paint job, wing doors, 22-inch rims and a touchscreen infotainment center.
The Challenger Rallye Redline Edition is an in-house Dodge tune job that made its debut at the 2012 Festival of LXs. (The event is said to be the largest U.S. gathering of Dodge Magnums, Challengers, Chargers and Chrysler 300s.) The SXT Plus-based special edition features a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 good for 305hp, 268 lb-ft of torque.. Handling upgrades include a tuned suspension, steering system, upgraded rear axle and bigger brakes. Leather and a cutting-edge sound system round out the $28,745 package.
The 2011 Mopar Challenger Drag Pak set two records at the 2011 NHRA Division 1 National Open. Driver Dave Thomas claimed both the ET and mph records for the AA/SA Class, with his record-making pass coming in at 9.43 seconds at 143.90 mph. The Drag Pak is based on a stock 2011 and comes equipped with a Mopar solid rear axle with a performance gear ratio, a 2-speed drag race transmission with integrated roll control, a competition fuel system with fuel cell and an interior gauge package.
LA-based Advanced Automotive Concepts (AAC) and Oracle Lighting built this bright blue Challenger. Oracle provided its Super-Bright SMD LED Halos, highly visible during the daylight and especially visible at night. An E-coated Mopar T/A Hood, aluminum fuel cap, 22-inch Vossen VVs-CV3 alloys and a dual exhaust system with rectangular tips round out the exterior additions. Despite being shamelessly self-promotional, the blue Mopar wrap is actually pretty awesome.
