Fifty-six Fixed Speed Cameras will soon be installed on additional roads to encourage them to reduce speeding.

Six additional mobile monitoring cameras will be acquired. This is the Central Procurement Board (CPB) which is currently evaluating the bids that were received for the installation of these devices. Delivery will be done in phases.

The first is to deliver the Speed Cameras in the Ministry of Public Infrastructure and Transport of procedure within six months after the supplier has received his "letter of intent". 26 Speed Cameras will be acquired during the first phase.

The second and third phases will be to deliver these units within three months.

The installation of monitoring equipment in conjunction with each phase will last three months. It is expected that all cameras be installed within 18 months.
