"He was drunk. He was very aggressive. He wanted to resume his way by car, but he could not start. So, he left on foot, leaving behind his injured passenger. "  This resident of North claims to have seen death in the face after a violent collision between the driver  'drunk'  and herself while both were driving on Royal Road in Grand Bay at around 23: 30 pm Friday, 7 February.
The driver, who is a pilot for Air Mauritius , for its part, denies having driven while intoxicated. He argues that the car driver was in the middle of the road. He participated in an exercise to identify Monday, February 10.
"I maneuvered my parked car to take the way home when, suddenly, the car traveling at high speed crashed into mine. The right door has taken a big hit " , for its part, says the old woman forty years. She explains that she has had time to throw on the left to protect themselves.
"By the force of the collision, my car overturned and hit a 4x4 which was luckily on the other side of the street. Otherwise, my Mini Cooper would probably rolled several times. I prefer not to think how it would have ended ... "  she says, still frightened by the violence of the impact.
"The drunk driver walked away on foot"
The driver of the other car is then lowered to the Nissan March he had rented. Aggressive, he left on foot, seeing that he could not start the car .
