She recorded a statement at the Vacoas police station on Tuesday at 9.10 am to this effect.
In her statement, Sonoo said while she was travelling in her car when she noticed the incident.
She took pictures using her mobile phone. She presented two of the pictures, one showing the impact of the accident on the minister’s car and the second showing the deer by the roadside.
The front bumper was slightly damaged while the animal did not seem to have suffered much.
According to police sources, a Sodnac resident was rearing deers in the past and owned around five.
Officers intend to take a statement from him. The vehicle involved in the accident was being driven by an officer of the VIPSU when the accident took place.
