Accident on St. Croix: A Resident of Terre Rouge Died on Spot, Two Others Injured

Fatal accident on St. Croix on Thursday night. Two motorcyclists collided around 21 hours.Christian Steven Roopa, aged twenty years, did not survive his injuries. His death was confirmed on site.

One of his friends, who accompanied him, is in a critical condition. He was admitted to the intensive care unit of the hospital Dr AG Jeetoo. The other motorcyclist, he is in a state considered stable. The circumstances of the accident remain unclear.

According to witnesses, the shock was so great that the victim was thrown several meters. Passersby tried to rescue the victims, but Christian Steven Roopa had already passed away. His funeral will take place today.
