In Baie-du-Tombeau: Is Sign Unusable?

Generally, the signs and traffic lights are placed to facilitate the movement of road users. But this is not the case in this part of the capital, a few meters from the church of St. Malo, at Baie-du-Tombeau.
In the eyes of passers-by, it seems rather that the sign has no place in the region. The proof for some time, the sign indicating the prohibition to drive faster than 60 kilometers per hour rather play hide and seek in the tall grass. Maybe he gives the signal to snails.
Most grieving is that no one cares about this glaring anomaly. Not even the police in the region. We can understand why motorists travelling this route run as fast.
Contacted by telephone, a part of the Ministry of Public Infrastructure has said it will link with the Municipality of Port Louis to remedy the problem. "Our role is to facilitate the lives of road users. It would also require the public to be sensitive and show us the flaws in this genre. In the absence of panel, everybody drives as it sees fit, and when an accident occurs it is the authorities that are pointing at ..., "he argues.
