About ten years later, its so-called next-generation appeared in the form of the 918 Spyder. Replacing the 612 horsepower V10 with a 608 hp V8 in addition to two electric motors making 279 horsepower, it shaved a full second off the Carrera GT's acceleration time from 0-60 and added endless modern technology features to make it an unbelievable racing animal.
