Because No One Else Did, Toyota Built a Hoverboard for 2015
Just don't expect it to hit the market this year...or ever. It’s 2015 and so far no hoverboards. No (realistic) flying cars either.
Needless to say we’re disappointed by this, but at least this group of Toyota engineers has actually done something about it by building a hoverboard. In this day and age of asteroid and Mars landings, and self-driving cars, it’s shocking it’s taken this long for someone to figure out how to make a damn board float. What these engineers came up with may not be perfect, but it’s a pretty good start.
All it’d take is more time and money for a realistic prototype to be built. We’ve waited since 1989 when "Back to the Future Part II" came out and our patience is dwindling.
