Chemin Grenier: Car Hit 73 Years-Old Man
Car hit a septuagenarian in Chemin Grenier Monday. He succumbed to his injuries in hospital. This local resident was crossing the road when the tragedy occurred.

The impact was violent and the septuagenarian was seriously injured. Elements of Samu summoned to the scene have rushed to hospital in Rose-Belle. 

But the victim, aged 73, passed away a few minutes later. His body was transported to the Princess Margaret Orthopaedic Centre for autopsy. 

Deaths due to multiple injuries 

The report of the post mortem examination performed by a medical examiner concluded that the victim died due to multiple injuries. 

The driver the car, aged 31, is also a resident of Chemin Grenier. He was taken to the police station to give his version of events. A blood alcohol test was negative. 

Police are investigating to determine the exact causes that led to this tragedy
