Kerala-based Evo Customz has uploaded images of what appears to be one of the craziest custom Toyota Innovas we've seen on Indian roads. The model is based on the first gen Innova, which was replaced with the Crysta in May 2016.
Where do we start? Probably the grille, which seems to be handpicked from a modern Lexus. Being finished in gloss black, the grille stands out from bright red exterior. It also features an aggressive bumper with bold LED DRL strips, projector headlamps with LED DRLs, hood intakes, transverse roof bars, LED taillamps, rear wing, and faux dual exhausts.
The 1st gen Innova had a 2.5-litre (2KD-FTV) 4-cyl engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, which produced 102 PS of maximum power at 3,600 rpm and 200 Nm of peak torque between 1,200 and 3,600 rpm. The current model – Innova Crysta – has three engine options: 2TR-FE 2.7L four-cylinder petrol with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed AT, 2GD-FTV 2.4L four-cylinder diesel with a 6-speed manual and 1GD-FTV 2.8L four-cylinder diesel with a 6-speed AT.
