Intermediate Court has imposed a fine of Rs 80,000 to Ranjeet Madoo after it was found guilty of manslaughter.

This "Medical Imaging Technologist" had caused the death of a three year old child in a road accident January 30, 2009. His license has also been canceled and may not reapply for the next three years.

Ranjeet Madhoo pleaded not guilty. He stated in his defense that he was traveling at a speed of 20 km / h and that he should go to his parents in Cité La Chaux.
