The photographed model appears to be of a lower variant, as it doesn’t feature chrome details, foglamps, or a silver skid plate, which were otherwise revealed in previous spyshots. An interesting aspect to note is that the tailgate is split in the middle for a barn door approach, unlike the usual fold-down design.
The Fiat Toro will draw design influence from the Fiat FCC4 Concept, as seen in the sleek pilot lamps, separate headlamps integrated in the large grille, LED taillamps and the large Fiat badge on the tailgate.
The Toro, as per reports will feature a 2.0-liter Multijet turbodiesel engine or a 1.8-liter E.torQ flex engine, paired to manual or automatic transmissions. The payload rating is expected to range between 650 kg to 1,000 kg, making the Renault Duster Oroch one of its rivals.
