This Fluorescent Porsche Cayenne Interior Will Hurt Your Eyes
While Porsche engineers have been braving the elements putting the next-generation Cayenne through its paces in sub-zero conditions, over in Poland, Carlex Design has been hard at work transforming the cabin of the current-gen Cayenne S.

Commissioned by an owner with either terrible eyesight or who longs to return the hacienda days of the 1990's rave scene, the cabin of the Porsche SUV has been highlighted with fluorescent green that no doubt sends the owner into a 'big box, little box' trance each time he steps inside.

Aside from a few choice carbon-fiber trim elements, the trippy lime green adorns the steering wheel, air vent surrounds, gear shifter bezel, speaker frames and along the inside of the doors. No area has escaped the punishment, with eyes left burning wherever you look. The juicy customization even extends to the seatbelts and stitching on the seats that have been freshly upholstered with leather and Alcantara. Giving the Cayenne a final makeover before its replacement arrives next year is a bold move. The market will be awash with models as owners look to upgrade to the latest and greatest SUV Porsche has to offer.

Built with a new lighter platform, a slicker cabin sporting more touchscreen controls and fewer knobs, and a muscular, more aggressive sheet metal, the new Cayenne is sure to bring down the price of current models. Let's hope the owner of this wild example intends to hold onto it as there won't be too many takers for this jawdropper.
