Forty Drivers Tested Positive Breath Test in 4 Days
During the weekend preceding Christmas and New Year, forty motorists were tested positive breath test. The police are stepping up efforts to ensure the security until 6 January 2013.
A heavy police presence is expected on the roads until January 6. In fact, this holiday season, the police force was mobilized to ensure security on the highways and in public places. Extent deemed necessary especially in four days, nearly 40 drivers were caught driving after drinking alcohol.
" Our workforce is as numerous as usual. We expect a strong mobilization, especially on our roads , "says Inspector Ashok Mathar. During the weekend of December 22 to 23, 19 drivers were tested positive breath test.
Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 December, they were 22 to get behind the wheel drunk. The police call for vigilance and responsible conduct in this festive period.
