Google Talks About Upcoming Android Auto System, Hopefully it Won’t Take Over Your Car
Seriously, you guys couldn’t find any non-weirdos to talk about this? When you think of Google and its connection to cars, you probably think of its autonomous car program spelling the end of humanity (we’re guessing).
Well, a slightly less terrifying project being developed is the Android Auto system, which will allow your car to communicate with your Android phone in a way automakers have failed to get infotainment systems to do in any way which is at all intuitive.
It is Hyundai which is actually leading the charge in this area. Since Apple is coming out with a similar product, both will be loaded on new Hyundais, and whichever device you plug in will determine which one runs.
