Honda has showcased the Honda Rebel 250 at the ongoing Osaka Motorcycle Show. The motorcycle is expected to be launched in Japan around April 2017.

While specifications are to be released, the Honda Rebel is expected to be powered by a quarter litre single cylinder mill borrowed from the Honda CBR250R. In the faired motorcycle the 249 cc single cylinder mill is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 29 PS of maximum power at 9,000 rpm and 23 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm.

Honda even claims a fuel efficiency figure of 32.1 km/l (WMTC) in the Honda CBR250R. Just like the Honda Rebel 300, the Honda Rebel 250 gets a single disc setup in the front as well as the rear, standard telescopic suspension up front and dual springs in the rear.

The Honda Rebel 250 has the familiar low-slung design with a fuel tank placed over the frame like a crown. The circular headlamp adds to the classic appeal of the Bobber-ish motorcycle.
