Following its unveiling on May 15, the India-bound 2017 Honda Jazz (facelift) is now on sale in Malaysia.

It is available in 5 grades: S, E, V and Hybrid, and prices range between RM 74,800 – RM 87,500. Priced at RM 87,500, the new Jazz Hybrid is the least expensive hybrid car on sale in Malaysia, which is the first market outside Japan to receive the variant.

The facelift arrives almost 4 years after the third-generation Jazz went on sale. It features restyled front and rear bumpers, LED DRLs as standard, dual tone 16-inch alloy wheels and a multi-angle reversing camera. Also new to the Jazz is the City's Lunar Silver Metallic exterior colour.

Some of the highlights inside the Jazz include six airbags, ABS, Vehicle Stability Assist, Hill Start Assist, Emergency Start Stop signal, 16-inch alloy wheels, touchscreen multimedia infotainment system, a touch panel for automatic climate control, keyless entry and start, and multi-function steering wheel.

The base S grade now gets 15-inch alloy wheels, start/stop button and a 2-DIN audio system, the E grade receives touch-based auto climate control, audio touchscreen system and four airbags, while the top-end V grade gains half-leather seats, cruise control and steering paddle shifters.

Regular variants pack the same 1.5L i-VTEC petrol motor that produces 120 PS (118.3 bhp) and 145 Nm of torque, paired with an Earthdreams CVT as standard across the range. The i-DCD Hybrid variant combines a 1.5-litre i-VTEC Atkinson cycle engine producing 110 PS and 134 Nm of torque with a 7-speed dual clutch transmission that has an electric motor delivering 29.5 PS and 160 Nm of torque. The hybrid system total output is rated at 137 PS and 160 Nm of torque.

As for the Indian market, the facelifted Honda Jazz is reported to launch in 2018 as it has not completed 2 years on the market.
