Investment Fraudster's 21 Supercars Sent to Auction
Over 5 million Euros worth of exotics went under the hammer.

A German fraudster by the name of Jens Blaume built up quite the car collection as he masterminded a Ponzi scheme whilst working as an investment broker. Jailed last year pending an investigation into his company's dealings, over 700 creditors need recompensing to the tune of 90 million Euros. Selling off his assets is one method to that end, and over the weekend, his collection of 21 supercars and exotics went under the hammer bringing in over 5 million Euros to be added to the repayment pot for ongoing claims.

The cars listed by the Bankruptcy auction held in Nurnberg, included a pair of brand-new Lamborghinis in the form of the Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale and Spyder Performante, a new McLaren 12C, a Ferrari F430 Scuderia, a trio of Porsches (991 Carrera 4S, 997 Carrera 4S, and Boxster S), two Mercedes AMG models (SL 63 and SLK 55), five Audis (R8 V10 Spyder, RS6, RS4, S8 and Q3), a BMW M6 Cabrio and BMW 1 Series M Coupe, a Fiat 500 Abarth and 695 Tributo Ferrari Edition, a new-gen VW Golf, Mini Cooper Works, and Renault Twingo RS. Expensive art work and luxury watches also formed part of the auction. And they say crime doesn't pay.
