The Land Rover Defender is about as tough as they come, but those looking for something even more badass will want to turn to Kahn Design. The British tuner and Land Rover specialist is the outfit behind the Flying Huntsman series, and what you're looking at here is the latest addition to the family.

Revealed at the Great British Land Rover Show at Donnington Park in the UK today, the new Flying Huntsman 105 Pick Up borrows a page from the same playbook that gave birth to the Flying Huntsman 105 Longnose and the Flying Huntsman 110 WB 6x6. But instead of a covered wagon body-style, as you might have guessed, it packs an open truck bed, with a two-seat cabin and that same stretched snout.

It's based on the Defender 90, but adds over 15 inches to its wheelbase and front end and another six inches to its width. It also features new fenders, wheel arches, headlamps, bumpers, grille, hood, side steps and 18-inch wheels. It's also got a fully refitted interior, and can be customized to order.

That stretched engine bay is big enough to fit a V8 crate engine, but this one sticks with a more reasonable 2.2-liter diesel, driving all four wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission. Even with that engine, though, it still costs a princely £58,875 before taxes, or nearly $90k at today's rates.
