The Aston Martin Jean Suzanne can not be seized and sold to pay employees Infinity BPO. The vehicle which is not his property, much less that of Infinity BPO. Ex-PM's adviser also said he is not unemployed.
> How do you differentiate between the famous Infinity Holdings and Infinity BPO?
The Holdings owns seven companies, including Infinity BPO. I am a shareholder at about 72% in Holdings and chief executive in seven companies.
> The Aston Martin is your personal vehicle or company car?
As president of Infinity Holdings, as any entrepreneur for that matter, I get a car. The Aston Martin is not my personal property. It belongs to Holdings and not Infinity BPO. So what has been said in the press is totally false.
The liquidator knows he can get his hands on the Aston Martin which belongs neither to me nor to Infinity BPO. The seven companies are the holding companies and operating under its control. Holdings is the financial support that Infinity BPO during the first difficult months. Infinity BPO has never paid a penny as dividends to Holdings.
> Say that you used the stimulus package to buy the Aston Martin is wrong, do you?
The stimulus package has never financed the Aston Martin that I acquired in 2007, well before the package from the government. It's a shortcut too easy. It's really stupid to believe such a fallacy. By the way, let me emphasize that this is not my first Aston Martin. I had one in France. I also had a Ferrari. My Rolex as I had before coming to Mauritius. I slowly built in 1999 before selling my box in 2002 for 5 million euros (Rs 200 million).
> Where the liquidator will he find the money to pay employees?
Mr. Boodnah need only pick at my ex-employee Appavoo, who was arrested for misappropriation of assets and equipment. Especially since he (Appavoo) took two of my clients that I have about 112 000 euros (Rs 500 million) and are repaying through Appavoo. Do not go to Tunisia, but in Vacoas to find the money. This is more than enough to pay Rs 1.8 million in unpaid wages. Do not forget that I personally paid out of my pocket Rs 5.5 million for staff salaries.
> If you love your ex-employees, why not sell the Aston Martin and the pay?
I have already drawn Rs 5.5 million in my pocket for my employees. How to sell an Aston Martin that I belong to me nor to Infinity BPO?
