Mercedes-AMG S63 trimmed by Vilner is fit for a king
The cabin features quilted leather and Alcantara over nearly every surface.

The technicians at Bulgarian tuner Art Studio Vilner are masters at taking vehicles with already luxurious interiors and making them even more opulent. The firm now outdoes itself for the latest project of turning a Mercedes-AMG S63 Sedan's cabin into a place fit for royalty. Arguably, the company's effort here even puts the Maybach S600 to shame.

According to Vilner, its client loved the S63 and its 577-horsepower (430 kW) biturbo 5.5-liter V8, but this person wasn't happy with the interior options available from Mercedes. This revised cabin with huge swathes of leather and Alcantara now perfectly fits the customer's wishes. Vilner dubbed the resulting vehicle The King.

The customer apparently likes the quilted look because the floor mats, seats, and headliner feature yards of white cross-stitching that covers the mix of leather and Alcantara. The steering wheel combines sections of Nappa leather and Alcantara, too. Even the trunk features the high-end materials, so people can be impressed when the owner unloads cargo. Vilner also replaces the stock wood trim with Piano Gloss Black parts. Vilner's styling here is a little dark for some people's taste but fits exactly what the buyer wants.

Mercedes is currently in the later stages of developing a slightly refreshed AMG-tuned S-Class with revised headlights and minor changes to the front and rear fascia. Inside, a new infotainment system layout puts both 12.3-inch screens right next to each other behind a clear case – somewhat like the latest E-Class. The company might even slot in its 4.0-liter biturbo V8 as a replacement for the current 5.5-liter biturbo V8. Power could match or even exceed the 603-hp (450-kW) from the latest Mercedes-AMG E63 S.
