The Mitsubishi Triton Knight edition gets its tough styling from matte black grille, front bumper extender, 17-inch matte black alloy wheels, matte black rear bumper, “KNIGHT” decals on the bonnet and tailgate, and sports bar with full box. Other highlights include Xenon HID headlamps with daytime running lights, keyless entry, engine start-stop button, paddle shifters, dual-zone climate control, embroidered black leather seats with “KNIGHT” branding, touchscreen media system and reversing camera.
The Mitsubishi Triton Knight edition does not feature an upgraded version of any existing engines and transmissions. It’s powered by the familiar 2.5-litre DI-D VGT diesel engine that produces 178 PS (131 kW/175 hp) at 4,000 rpm and 400 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm. 5-speed manual transmission and part-time four-wheel drive with Hybrid Limited Slip Differential are standard.
The Mitsubishi Triton Knight edition is priced at RM1,22,487.84 (Rs 1 500 000). The accessorized version is believed to be Mitsubishi’s reaction to the recent launch of the new Toyota Hilux in Malaysia.
