“The ultimate American muscle car,” according to Henrik Fisker who co-designed the Mustang-based Rocket with Galpin Auto Sport, the stunning car comes with a a 725-hp powerplant and carbon fiber body with inspiration coming from the pony cars of the 1960’s and 1970’s, most notably the 1968 Shelby GT500.
The Rocket sports a sculptured hood with two large air intakes that supplements the six-point grille and carbon-fiber front splitter in keeping the 725-hp 5.0-liter supercharged V8 (mated to a six-speed manual) nice and cool. Additional scoops on the rear fenders also help to cool the 15-inch Brembo Grand Turismo high-performance brakes. Other handmade carbon-fiber body parts include the rear spoiler, rear diffuser, and side skirts. Galpin President Beau Boeckmann, said “it’s literally the most beautiful Mustang I have ever seen." If you agree, and you want one, then act fast as it will be rolled out in limited production run priced at around $100,000.
