Gerwin William Lawrence Camboulives met an inglorious end Thursday afternoon. This Franco-Mauritian, pilot by profession, was on his Ducati Monster when he collided head a taxi that was traveling in the opposite direction. He passed away shortly after the accident.

It's a shock for those Camboulives and fellow pilots of Air Mauritius! William Lawrence Camboulives Gerwin, 29, was killed on his big car in front of his helpless mother and wife.

He was a pilot with Air Mauritius. His passion: his big Ducati Monster, registered 6822 V. He came from Grand Bay. His mother and his wife followed him by car.

At the height of Vale roundabout, Gerwin William Lawrence Camboulives leaves his way to take the other to pass another vehicle, when the irreparable happens. The Ducati Monster driver finds himself in front of a Toyota Corolla taxi from Petit Raffray.

Gerwin Camboulives reportedly lost control of his car and slammed into the taxi. The violence of the impact, the driver is thrown a few meters on asphalt.
