"My mother left home on Saturday to 14 hours to get to work at Vandermeersch," says Steve, who had no idea it was the last time that he would see his mother, Marie Nicole Musruck in life. After working as a nurse for 12 years, she had converted to his lady companion the same employers. "My mother used to make bread once out of work. I waited for her to come with the bread in vain ... "Says Steve.

Police sources we learn that the young man who was driving the car in question, came from Rose Hill to 6 am eastbound and Beau-Bassin. Nicole Marie Musruck ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Hit full force at the height of Debonnaire Pizza, she was seriously injured. Alerted, the police went there and an ambulance. The victim was taken to hospital where Dr Jeetoo his death was to be found soon after. The driver was arrested later.

"Around 6:30, I received a call from my mother's employer, who then told me she had had traffic accident 'a grave'. I then thought she had just broken a leg or arm, and there was nothing alarming. I told my neighbor and we went to the hospital, "says Steve. Once there, he barely had time to talk to a doctor he learns that his mother died. "I was told curtly that my mother died," he said indignantly. "The announcement of the death of my mother stunned," he continues.

Second victim dark Sunday, as nearly half an hour after the accident, Nicole Marie, another lady was going to get hit a few meters from the police station in Beau-Bassin. According to the manager of a shop located near the scene of the accident, the victim, who lives with a son, used to walking early in the morning.

"She had gone to the shop that morning, had bought a newspaper and went to another shop to get his bread. She went to market in the face when the inevitable happened. She was struck on the crosswalk by a van. My wife who alerted her son Michael, "the manager tells us. The driver, a baker in the neighbourhood, was delivery. In his testimony, he said he had not seen the lady crossing. This is also the driver who alerted police. It was heard that day by the investigators before he was allowed to go home. But a few hours after admission to the hospital septuagenarian Dr. Jeetoo, she passed away.

Both drivers appeared in court Monday Rose-Hill.
