One would probably not anticipate anything potentially dangerous happening just by spinning some tires that are securely strapped to a metal platform. However, every so often something can go wrong, even on a dynamometer. This Mustang owner learned this the hard way when pushing his car to around 150 mph (241 km/h) in high gear.
