The bike was snapped in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, reportedly for a commercial; picture courtesy BikeAdvice. The riders are seen wearing Intruder jackets, indicating the possibility that Suzuki may launch dedicated apparel and riding group as well. The new pictures give a detailed look at the bike's design and features. Large extensions flank the fuel tank, and the bodywork is a two-tone unit. The 'Intruder' badging is on the sides of the tank, and its design line flows all the way to the pillion seat on the sides. The tank cowls cover up the engine rather nicely. There's also an engine cowl at the bottom.
The seats are of a split type, and the rider's seat is nicely sculpted for maximum comfort. The all-digital instrument cluster looks similar to the one in the Gixxer. The fork-mounted LED protector headlamp sits flush with the tank; and the handlebar cowl holds the indicators and the key holder, uniquely positioned at the front. The rider's footpegs are forward set and ensure a comfortable riding stance. On the tail section, a keyhole is visible, which could indicate the presence of the tools compartment inside.
The rear portion of the bike was also spied recently. According to the leaked brochure scans, the bike draws power from a 154.9 cc single cylinder SOHC engine with air cooling. It produces 14.8 PS of power at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The carburetted engine mates with a 5-speed transmission. It is the same engine that does duty in the Gixxer SF.
