Nissan GT-R Races Against its Grandfather, a Tuned R33 Skyline GT-R
We will never get tired of these sorts of races. We will start with the disclaimer that this isn't one of those races where you can see how much a car has evolved by watching it race an earlier generation.
The older car here has been tuned to crank out a bunch of extra horsepower. Of course, this is pretty interesting as well, since it means that a win from the newer GT-R isn't a foregone conclusion. Seeing as how the R33 is ancient for a high-tech giant slayer.
So perhaps the interesting thing to see here is how well the tuners managed to improve the car in comparison to how Nissan evolved it.
