Nissan Plans Major Offensive for 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon
Nissan will bring 10 customized cars, including a Nissan Juke Personalization Concept, to the 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon tuner show in January.

Personalization is a key theme of Nissan's display at Japan's version of the SEMA show. On display will be a number of customized editions of Nissan's domestic range, such as the Juke Personalization Concept featuring metallic paint and orange wheels, mirrors and window surrounds.

Track versions of the Nissan GT-R and Nissan Z are also set for the show.

Nismo, Nissan's performance arm, will also show its take on the Nissan Juke, while another model to get the personalization treatment will be the new-generation Note hatchback, complete with a daring graphics motif along the side that's been dubbed "digital camouflage."

Nissan will have the mighty Motul Autech GT-R from Super GT, Japan's top race series, on display as well as the improved 2013 GT-R Nismo GT3.

However, many cameras will likely be pointed toward the DeltaWing, the ground-breaking dart-shaped racer that created a sensation when it ran at the Le Mans 24 Hours this year.

For Nissan, the DeltaWing has been a PR coup that's exceeded even its wildest dreams. This sleek, Nissan-powered racecar will be making is first showing in Japan and is still so outlandish it may well steal the show.

The Tokyo auto salon, which traditionally kicks off the New Year in Japan, runs from January 11-13.
