The one-off Rogue Trail Warrior is a pixel-camouflage-wrapped special that features Dominator tracks from American Track Truck. In place of regular-issue wheels are 48-inch tracks, and the CUV's suspension and wheel wells have been modified to accommodate them. As for the driveline, Nissan has left it stock, so the vehicle is powered by the 170-horsepower 2.5-litre DOHC four found underneath the hood of any non-tracked, non-camouflaged Rogue.
The custom work also includes a host of other sand-dune traversing equipment, such as a Warn 4K winch, an ARB Gear Basket on the roof along with LED lighting, and some cosmetic enhancements like flared wheel arches and "military-style" yellow-tinted headlights and windows. It's not unlike the ML-class concepts Mercedes-Benz outfitted for the Jurassic Park sequel The Lost World back in the 1990s – shame they didn't think of fitting tracks on those trucks.
You can find the Rogue Trail Warrior at the 2017 New York Auto Show, along with other "unique takes" on the Rogue, as Nissan calls the custom work. Perhaps it's the ultimate vehicle for tackling NYC potholes.
