One Student Killed in Accident On His Way to Lessons

The young man, who was in Upper Six, found himself under the wheels of a truck. Taken to hospital, doctors were unable pronounced dead. He had his head crushed. An autopsy by the medical examiner, Dr. Maxwell Monvoisin, attributed the death of the victim to his multiple injuries. The truck driver, a fifties, appeared before the Bail and Remand Court. He has been detained and will be translated again in court Monday Pamplemousses. Police also conducted a breathalyzer on the driver who was negative.
