Police Officer Died a Week After Being Admitted to Hospital

Assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of Red Earth, Constable Vicky Raghoonauth died in the early hours of Friday, December 30. This 31 year old man was the victim of a car accident Friday, December 23, Calebasses. 

According to preliminary investigation, he have lost control of his vehicle and ended his race against a tree. Seriously wounded, he was transported by emergency services to the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam hospital where he was to undergo several operations. 

His condition is not stabilized, he was transferred to intensive care. It's a week later he passed away. A mid-day this Friday, December 30, Vicky's body was in the hospital Raghoonauth Victoria, Candos, pending the post-mortem examination of the medical examiner.
