Porsche-Designed $16M Superyacht Finally Hits The Water
It features two V12 engines or can run more quietly by using generators to power electric motors.

Maybe you drive a Porsche and listen to music through the company's speakers, but true brand diehards can now get a 35-meter (115-foot) yacht with styling from the company's design division – Studio F. A. Porsche. Dynamiq will build just seven examples GTT 115 Hybrid, and the first one will debut at the ultra-posh Monaco Yacht Show.

"Taking the spirit of high-performance sportscar styling to the high seas, the Dynamiq GTT 115 is designed to appeal to car lovers and forward-thinking yacht owners who appreciate the advantages of speed, style and our philosophy of intelligent performance," Roland Heiler, CEO of Studio F. A. Porsche, said.

The design team gave this yacht's aluminum hull an absolutely gorgeous shape. Smooth curves dominate the design, and they are reminiscent of the look at waves rising through the water, which is appropriate for a ship. A pair of V12 engines from Man produce a total of 1,627 horsepower (1,213 kilowatts), and the yacht can carry 6,340 gallons (24,000 liters) of fuel. This gives the GTT 115 a max speed of 21 knots (24 miles per hour or 39 kilometers per hour) and a range over 3,400 nautical miles (6,297 km). Operators can also switch off the powerplants and use on-board generators for energizing electric motors to reach up to 6 knots (7 mph or 11 kph).

Prices for the yacht start at 12.5 million euros ($149.3 million), but the company's configurator let you pile on options to increase the cost rapidly. For example, the one on display in Monaco retails for 13.95 million euros ($16.7 million), and it includes touches like Rhodium Grey Metallic paint on the hull.

There are plenty of opulent amenities available as options on the GTT 115, too. For example, the wealthy buyers can spend $400,000 on deck furniture and $300,000 for interior appointments from Minotti. A $278,000 sport package adds mahogany and carbon fiber trim to the yacht; plus it comes with an exercise bike.

If a Porsche-designed yacht is too unwieldy for you, the company does the styling for many smaller goods, too. For example, there's a $3,500 sound bar that takes direct inspiration from the 911 GT3's exhaust or a solid gold fountain pen.
