The Price of Gasoline and Diesel Remain Unchanged
Motorists can be reassured. The price of petrol and diesel have been increased or decreased. A decision by the members of the Petroleum Pricing Committee at a meeting held last Thursday, August 8.
The price of diesel and the gasoline remain unchanged. However, even if the change in price of the two fuels has certainly experienced a downward trend, the trend is below the recommended threshold of 7% for the intervention of the committee, a price adjustment is not justified. Diesel and gasoline respectively therefore sell at Rs 52.25 and Rs 43.95 per liter at the pump.
