Near the old Aquarium , Trou aux Biches, the truck François Hervé broke down around 7 am on Tuesday, February 18. This local resident, aged 48, did not hesitate to crawl under the vehicle to see where the problem originated. But he failed to engage.
The truck began to set in motion and it was crushed by the big wheels. Seriously injured, the victim was rushed to the hospital. However, François Hervé succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
An autopsy should be done during the day.
