Road safety: the system of the probationary license may be introduced

Sunday, August 28. The Government could come forward with the introduction of a probationary license. This was announced yesterday, the police inspector, Mohit Ramma in the program on Radio Plus.The permit would be granted to young motorists. A technical committee has already been set up to investigate this possibility. It is composed of representatives of the police, government and the State Law Office. The introduction of the probationary license, which aims to reduce road accidents, has been mentioned several times in Mauritius. But the project never materialized.
